A week of ski mountaineering among the immense Austrian pine forests against which the easternmost glaciers of the Alpine arc and the beautiful Dachstein, with its 2995 meters, the highest peak of the Northern Limestone Alps. The typical hospitality of the places to stay and the peaceful environment make this trip a proposal for those who want a week of ski mountaineering dedicated to beautiful powdery snow along panoramic trips and without major technical difficulties! In fact, the trips always start from the bottom of picturesque, typically Austrian valleys often nestled in deep rocky gorges, beyond which you reach open spaces and wide panoramic slopes above the pine forests. Upper Styria offers beautiful descents that alternate open slopes with vast coniferous forests; Thanks to the rather cold climate and the disturbances that easily reach these mountains from Siberia, the snow is very often powdery and abundant.

The Lyngen Alps are a young mountain range in Norway, made up of wild peaks sinking firmly in the North Atlantic Ocean beyond the Arctic Circle. Their incredible geographical exuberance has fascinated skiers for years! A small number of larger islands offer abundance of powerful verticality, while an infinite galaxy of smaller islands, inlets and rocks, small harbors, bays and high cliffs, thin ridges and white beaches offer breathtaking landscapes and ever-changing emotions.

Ski touring in Iceland

The Trollaskagi or Troll Peninsula is located in northern Iceland, in the Akureyri region. it is an extraordinary land, made up of vast mountain areas which are highly interesting for ski mountaineering lovers: the altitudes are vaying from 800 to 1400 m asl, the average difficulties are BS level on the classic scale with BSA level variations and exciting couloirs for steep ski lovers . We have suggested some objectives, all of them with an easy road access and all of them profitable in terms of descent and panorama.

Ski mountaineering in Senja, the magical island north of the Arctic Circle

Senja Island is located about 300 km north of the Arctic Circle, on the northwest coast of Norway. It is the second largest island in the country and is known as "the magical island" or "miniature Norway", due to the wide variety of landscapes on the island. Here you will find deep fjords, alpine peaks and undulating terrain sprinkled with lakes and peaks. The highest peaks reach 1000 m, so they are great targets for day trips and many of them descend directly into the sea, offering breathtaking sceneries. For fitter and stronger skiers, there are numerous options for connections, traverses and steep descents to make the days an extraordinary experience. The island also has a good road network, which allows you to reach even the most remote places in about an hour from where we will stay.

CHAMONIX ZERMATT: The Haute Route

The Haute Route: this is the name with which the mythical traverse that leads from the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley to Zermatt is commonly remembered. A unique route, with great environmental, sporting and landscape value that brings you to make a real journey through the main giants of the Swiss Alps.
We propose Chamonix Zermatt with a final challenge on the Breithorn, a beautiful 4000 meters mountain that seals the traverse before the long final descent to Cervinia.

Ski Mountaineering in Bergsfjord

Bergsfjord is located near Alta, in the far north of Norway. This small fishing village inhabited by around 40 people was chosen by Morten Christensen, a Norwegian skier and skipper, for the construction of Bergsfjord Lodge: a chalet designed for skiers, with ski room, chef to appreciate Norwegian cuisine, jacuzzi and motor boat for travel to various ski mountaineering trips. Piz Buin – Haute Route del Silvretta

One of the most famous Haute Routes in the Alps, which cannot be missing from the travel notebook of those who love traveling on skis! We find ourselves on the border between Switzerland and Austria, in an area of picturesque green valleys with sparkling glaciers and peaks as a backdrop which - although they do not reach too high heights - impose themselves on the gaze with their sharp shapes. The Silvretta tour allows you to reach one of these peaks every day - including Piz Buin, also known to the layman thanks to the sun creams that adopted its name - in a completely natural way and without using ski lifts: a great way to explore these mountains in the season in which they present themselves in their most elegant guise.
